WHAT IS AN EDISON PEARL?-----Edison pearls are large 8.5-14mm+ (they are usually bigger than 8.5, but since I cannot quality control, you might get under 9MM ) freshwater pearl with a bead center. Huh? A bead is placed inside an oyster during pearl formation. The oyster forms a pearl around the bead which is what makes it so large.
